Arbor Day planting

From left, Town Administrator Bruce Keiser, Tree Warden Steve Saracino, Paul Dolan and Peter Lockwood, both of the state Department of Environmental Management, plant an American elm tree in Jamestown on Arbor Day. Dolan and Lockwood presented an award for the ninth consecutive year to Jamestown. Lockwood commended the town for being a leader in community forestry in the state. “This award is the result of the hard work and dedication of Steve Saracino, your tree warden, and the Tree Committee. Jamestown is a leader in urban forestry and an example of what can be accomplished by everyone in the state.” Photo by Geoff Campbell From left, Town Administrator Bruce Keiser, Tree Warden Steve Saracino, Paul Dolan and Peter Lockwood, both of the state Department of Environmental Management, plant an American elm tree in Jamestown on Arbor Day.
