Islander wins two awards at Connecticut College
Michael Marshall, a senior at Connecticut College, was recognized twice at the school’s annual awards ceremony held on April 27. Marshall was presented with the Harold D. Juli Memorial Award for Student Research, which is given to a student from any department for exemplary joint research with a faculty member in memory of Harold D. Juli, Professor of Anthropology.
He was also given the David G. Fenton Physics-Astronomy Prize for excellence in physics. Marshall, a resident of Jamestown and a 2007 graduate of North Kingstown High School, is the son of Mary and Roger Marshall of Jamestown.
