Thanks to all for ‘Spring Fling’
On behalf of the Jamestown Community Chorus, I am writing to thank everyone who played a part in the great success of our “Spring Fling” Broadway tribute concerts on May 7 and 8. We had a full house for both performances and we thank everyone who came out to hear us sing.
We would like once again to congratulate Emma Vogel of Jamestown, the North Kingstown High School student who won this year’s JCC music award, and we wish her continued success in her musical studies.
Our deep appreciation goes out to our many community partners: the Central Baptist Church for a fine rehearsal and performance space; the Secret Garden, Jamestown Hardware and Baker’s Pharmacy for selling advance tickets for us; the Jamestown Press for publicizing the chorus’ activities all season long, and especially Ken Shane for a fine article just prior to the concert; and Sav Rebecchi for recording the concert for the Jamestown Record.
Thanks to Jim Perry for sound engineering; to Pat Perry for printing tickets and programs; to those who took tickets at the door: Agnes Filkins, Kathy Karl, Tim Yentsch and Marcia Blair; to Teresa Murray for help with the reception and passing out programs; to Prim Bullock for exquisite centerpiece decorations; and Ken Greene for designing our concert flyer.
Thank you all. We hope everyone enjoyed our concert as much as we enjoyed presenting it.
