Fire runs

May 17, 5:16 p.m., Car 4 responded to Narragansett Avenue for a fire alarm.

May 18, 9:57 a.m., Car 1, Car 3 and Engine 2 were sent to Fort Getty Road for a smoke alarm.

May 18, 11:33 a.m., Car 1, Car 3, Car 4 and Engine 2 went to East Shore Road for a fire alarm.

May 19, 1:17 p.m., Car 2, Car 3, Car 4, Engine 2, Ladder 1 and Engine 3 were dispatched to the Highway Barn for a faulty detector.

May 19, 7:30 p.m., all companies turned out for the weekly drill.

May 20, 3:45 a.m., Engine 1 and Rescue 1 were sent to Southwest Avenue for a carbon monoxide alarm.

May 20, 12:07 p.m., Car 1 responded to Melrose Avenue for a carbon monoxide alarm.

May 20, 8 a.m., Car 1, Engine 3, Ladder 1 and Tanker 2 went to Lawn Avenue School for Island Treasures.

EMS runs

May 15, 3:53 a.m., EMS-1, Pemberton Avenue, transported.

May 16, 1:18 p.m., EMS-1, North Main Road, transported.

May 17, 8:21 a.m., EMS-2, Pemberton Avenue, transported.

May 18, 9:29 p.m., EMS-2, Cole Street, transported.

May 20, 4:46 p.m., EMS-2, Melrose Avenue, refused.

May 20, 6:26 p.m., EMS-2, Clinton Avenue, transported.

This week JEMS had six calls. One patient refused transportation and five were transported to Newport Hospital.

Calls this week included diffi culty breathing, headache, chest pain, laceration and not feeling well.
