Filmmaking workshop for children at library
The Jamestown Philomenian Library will hold a filmmaking workshop for children ages 10 and older on Thursday, July 21, from 7 to 8 p.m.
The Rhode Island Museum of Science and Art will present its program, “Animation: The Art and Science of Visual Perception.”
Participants will learn about persistence of vision and will be able to make a Victorian-era animation to take home.
There will also be additional post-program activities, including dialogue writing and narration.
The program is free and open to the public.
