Blues-rock band set to play concert Sunday

Jamestown’s Summer Concert Series will feature Black and White on Sunday, July 24, at 6:30 p.m. at East Ferry Memorial Square.

Black and White is a blues-rock band that has performed at the prestigious Boston Blues Festival. Starting out as a quartet in 1990, the band became a trio fives years later and has since shared billing with such acts as Bo Diddley, Southside Johnny, G.E. Smith, Junior Wells, Buckwheat Zydeco, Rick Derringer, .38 Special, Duke Robillard and Dr. Hook. Black and White features Don DiMuccio on drums, Jason James on guitar and Kevin Martin on bass.

Admission is free. In case of rain, the show will go on at the Jamestown Recreation Center.
