POLICE LOGS

Suspended license

• Logan E. Godek, 22, of East Main Road, Portsmouth, was charged July 11 with driving with a suspended license after he was stopped for having an improper inspection sticker and police ran his license, police said. Godek was not held at the police station. An arraignment was scheduled for July 15 at Newport District Court, according to police.

• Molly Reardon, 22, of Frigate Street, was charged July 14 with driving with a suspended license after a routine traffic stop revealed that her license had been suspended, police said. Reardon was released with a summons and an arraignment scheduled for July 22 at Newport District Court according to police.

First offense possession of marijuana

Erin E. Devine, 32, of Waite’s Corner Road, West Kingston, was charged July 14 with possession of marijuana after he was stopped for speeding on North Road, police said. Devine was held at the police station and transported to Newport District Court where he was arraigned, according to police.

Bench warrant violation

Christian N. Cunningham, 19, of Howland Avenue, was charged July 19 with a bench warrant violation for failure to attend an arraignment for first offense marijuana possession at 4th District Court, police said. Cunningham was aware of the warrant and turned himself in to the Jamestown Police Station where he was transported to Newport District Court, according to police.

First offense DUI/refusal to take a

Breathalyzer

Caitlin Fallon, 28, of Westside Road, Block Island, was charged July 21 with first offense DUI and refusal to take a Breathalyzer test after she failed a field sobriety test after she was involved in a minor traffic accident, police said. Fallon was held at the police station where she was arraigned by a justice of the peace and a re-arraignment was scheduled for July 22 at Newport District Court, according to police.

Domestic vandalism

Edward Comerford, 34, of Nautilus Street, was charged July 24 with domestic vandalism after police responded to a call from a woman who reported that her boyfriend vandalized her kitchen cabinets, police said. Comerford was held at the police station and an arraignment was scheduled for July 25 at Newport District Court, according to police.

First offense DUI/refusal to take a Breathalyzer/driving with a suspended license

William Cregan, 29, of Howland Avenue, was charged July 24 with first offense DUI, refusal to take a Breathalyzer test, and driving with a suspended license after police responded to a call that a man drove his car into a tree. The car was driven by Cregan, police said. Cregan was taken to the hospital where he was released with a summons for an arraignment on July 29 at Newport District Court, according to police.

Incident report:

• On July 18, a mailbox on East Shore Road and another on America Way were reported knocked over.

• On July 19, a GPS unit and a tennis racquet were reported missing from an unlocked car on Old Walcott Avenue.

• On July 19, a fraudulently used credit card registered to a person living on Nun Avenue was reported with two Internet purchases.

• On July 20, a Buoy Street mailbox was reported damaged.

• On July 20, a credit card was reported to have been fraudulently used by a person living on Walcott Avenue.

• On July 21, a generator was reported stolen from a shed on Ft. Getty Road.

• On July 23, a mooring was reported vandalized at Dutch Harbor.
