Aug. 9, 11:47 a.m., Engine 3 was sent to Fowler Street for a lift assist.

Aug. 9, 2:54 p.m., Car 3 and Ladder 1 were dispatched to the Library for a child in a tree.

Aug. 10, 4:45 a.m., Car 30 went to Conanicus Avenue to aid the police searching for a person.

Aug. 10, 6:05 a.m., Car 30 responded to Conanicus Avenue for an occupant locked out.

Aug. 10, 7:55 a.m., EMS 1 and Car 1 were dispatched to Pemberton Avenue for a patient transport.

Aug. 11, 2:45 p.m., Engine 3, Car 1, Rescue 1, Engine 2, Engine 1 and EMS 1 were sent to Tashtussuc Road for an automobile accident.

Aug. 11, 6:30 p.m., all units turned out to the station for drill.

Aug. 12, 5:17 a.m., Engine 3, Ladder 1, Rescue 1 and Car 2 responded to Lawn Avenue for a smoke alarm.

Aug. 13, 6:02 p.m., Car 1, Car 2, Car 3, and all fire apparatus went to Lawn Avenue for a bad heat detector.

Aug. 14, 11:01 p.m., Engine 3, Car 2 and Marine 1 were dispatched to the area between the Dumplings, Fort Adams and Fort Wetherill for people in the water.

Aug. 15, 1:41 p.m., Car 1, Engine 3, Rescue 1, Engine 1 and Tanker 2 responded to the Newport Pell Bridge toll plaza for an automobile fire.

This week EMS had 16 calls. Two calls were for standby, three patients refused transportation, one patient was taken to South County Hospital and 10 patients were transported to Newport Hospital. Calls this week included injuries due to falls, heat exhaustion, weakness, loss of consciousness, motor vehicle accident, head injury, trauma to eye and psychological evaluation.
