Adam Jackson

Adam F. “Buddha” Jackson, 42, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Aug. 12, 2011. Born in San Diego, Calif., he was a son of the late Thomas F. Jackson and Margaret (Orosco) Jackson.

Adam worked as a carpenter and was an avid musician. He was a songwriter, poet, artist, and allaround creative person. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He leaves his beloved daughter, Aryan R. Burns of Jamestown. He was the brother of Aaron V. Jackson of North Kingstown and Adrian D. Jackson of Avon, Conn. He was also the cherished uncle of Heather DeSouza, Brandy, Taylor and Morgan Jackson, and granduncle of Kylie DeSouza and Braden Kook.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, Aug. 19, from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Cranston-Murphy Funeral Home in North Kingstown.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Aryan Burns College Fund.
