Bertil Brodin received a permit July 21 to add a horse stall and a garden shed at 3 Atlantic Circle. Work estimated to cost $2,000.

Dennis Giordano received a permit July 28 to add an addition including a full bath, a new kitchen and wood floors at 17 Friendship Street. Work estimated to cost $100,000.

Marilyn Thomas received a permit Aug. 16 to replace existing front stairs at 79 Whittier Road. Work estimated to cost $3,700.

Christine Tieri received a permit Aug. 17 to replace five windows on porch at 16 North Main Road. Work estimated to cost $2,500.

Electrical permits

NHCC Medical received a permit Aug. 9 to install an energy ballast and bulbs at 18 Southwest Ave. Word estimated to cost $1,000.

David Work received a permit Aug. 18 to add an addition and remodel a private residence at 78 Clarke Street. Work estimated to cost $3,000.

Mechanical permits

Neil Talancy received a permit Aug. 12 to install a tank and run a gas line to range in wall at 915 East Shore Road. Work estimated to cost $450.

Eveline Paquette received a permit Aug. 15 to install a wood-buring stove, chimney connector and stainless steel line at 98 Bow Street. Work estimated to cost $2,800.

Bob Bailey received a permit Aug. 15 to install two direct-vent gas fireplaces on the first floor and one direct-vent fireplace on the second floor at 897 East Shore Road. Work estimated to cost $8,000.

Bill Pierce received a permit Aug. 15 to install a NFPA sprinkler system with a 300-gallon storage tank at 58 Seaside Drive. Work estimated to cost $7,000.
