Slice of Heaven, Lila Delman win U10 games

Three games were played on Sept. 17 in the Jamestown recreational soccer league, and all three games came down to the wire in the U10 and U12 division. In the U10 division, Slice of Heaven won for the second straight week, this time with a 3-2 win of Salon Balayage. Ben Turene, Callum Magarian and Caleb Delyi scored in a winning effort, while Olivia Supron scored a pair of goals for Salon Balayage.

In the other U10 game, Lila Delman got both goals from Keeley Wallace in a 2-1 win over Secret Garden. Donavan Martin scored the lone goal for Secret Garden.

The Fuzz Foundation defeated House of Pizza, 5-3, in the U12 division. Caroline Crabtree scored the goals for Fuzz, while Max Ward recorded a hat trick in the loss.

In the U6 division, outstanding players were Jordan Parris and Ella Gregoire for Kettlebottom Outfitters; Katherine Magarian, Zach Dibiase, Quinn Kennedy and Jacob Lentz for the Jamestown Rotary Club teams; Sophia Iocavelli and Anthony Insana for Jamestown Hardware; and Nathaniel Healy and Sean Roberts for Ali’s Run.

In the U8 division, outstanding players were Caitlin DeLessio and Ryder Anderson for Jamestown Women’s Club; John Cadwalader and Robert Cadwalader for Jamestown Fitness; Ben Regan and John Bailey for Conanicut Marine; TJ Coleman and Julia Cotsonas for Jamestown Animal Clinic; Drew Tamburini and Garrett Corsi for Murphy’s Law; and Cameron Baker and Polina Wright for Baker’s Pharmacy.
