Melrose, Lawn to offer afterschool programs

The Jamestown Education Foundation and the Jamestown School Department will offer six- to eightweek programs for students in various grade levels beginning Tuesday, Oct. 11.

Many of the programs are offered at no cost, although some programs may have a nominal fee for materials. Fee waivers are available to anyone requiring one.

Melrose Avenue School courses include string instructions with Emily

Anthony, yoga, painting and clay sculpting, running club, cooking, karate, hip hop and printmaking.

Lawn Avenue offers volleyball, sailing, golf, printmaking, sculpting, cooking, robotics, yoga, student council and drama.
