Fire Runs

Sept. 28, 8:27 p.m., Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 3, Ladder 1, Car 1, Car 2, and Car 4 were dispatched to Pemberton Avenue for a fire alarm.

Sept. 30, 5:58 a.m., Car 4, Engine 2 and EMS 1 went to Capstan Street for a lift assist.

Oct. 1, 12:04 a.m., Engine 3 and Ladder 1 were sent to Wright Lane for a fire alarm.

Oct. 1, 1:56 a.m., Engine 2 was directed to North Kingstown Station 2 for mutual aid.

Oct. 2, 3:21 p.m., Car 4, and all companies went to Bay View Drive for a gas spill.

Oct. 2, 4:23 p.m., all companies were dispatched to Narragansett Ave. for a smoke detector.

Oct. 2, 6:20 p.m., Car 2, Car 3, Car 4, Ladder 1, Engine 1 and Engine 3 were sent to Whittier Rd. for a chimney fire.

Sept. 28, 1:08 p.m., EMS-1, Ferry Wharf, transported.

Sept. 29, 3:38 p.m., EMS-1, East Shore Road, transported.

Sept. 29, 3:40 p.m., EMS-2, Pemberton Avenue, refused.

Sept. 29, 5:13 p.m., EMS-1, Plymouth Road, transported.

This week EMS had 12 calls. Two calls were canceled en route, one patient refused transportation, and nine patients were transported to Newport Hospital. Calls this week included injuries due to falls, bee sting, heart palpitations, lift assist, chest pain and not feeling well.
