25 mph ‘too fast’ for West Ferry hill

I very much relate to all that Pam Carr said in last week’s Press about the speed of the traffic around the island (Oct. 6, 2011: “Obey speed limits so children are safe”).

Avenue B is on the west end of Narragansett Avenue. Cars go down the Narragansett hill and make “wheelies” on the West Ferry dock. Even 25 mph is too fast for that hill and the pedestrian traffic. I screamed at someone and they shouted back, “I am going 25 mph!”

Drivers, be more considerate and use common sense when you see people and pets going to West Ferry.
