Association to hear from school panel candidates
The Jamestown Shores Association will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. at the Jamestown Senior Center. Guest speakers will include the three local School Committee candidates who are running for two vacant seats during the Nov. 6 election.
The three candidates are incumbent B.J. Whitehouse, Sarah Baines and Lowell Thomas. Local attorney John A. Murphy from Morneau & Murphy will moderate the event.
The JSA meeting is free and open to the public. Audience members are welcome to bring written questions to the forum. Time will be given to discuss the top issues for the School Committee candidates.
There will be coffee and desserts after the program and candidates will be around to discuss the event.
