TOWN OF JAMESTOWN ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE JAMESTOWN ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING NOVEMBER 15, 2011, AT THE JAMESTOWN TOWN HALL 93 NARRAGANSETT AVENUE, JAMESTOWN, RHODE ISLAND AT 7:00 P.M. UPON THE FOLLOWING:
Application of Riven Rock, Inc., whose property is located at 113 Melrose Ave., and further identified as Assessor’s Plat 8, Lot 31, for a special use permit and variance, under Sections 82-600, 601, 602, 605, 606, 607,704, and Table 3-2 to alter a lawfully created nonconforming use, by reconstructing, and adding a second story to the smaller of the two single family homes existing on the lot. Said reconstructed house will be located 15 ft. from the front lot line, rather than the required 40 ft. Said property is located in a R40 zone and contains 74,500 sq. ft.
Application of Hoosier Legacy Partnership (Jeffrey McDonough), whose property is located at 42 Narragansett Ave., and further identified as Assessor’s Plat 8, Lot 472, for a variance from Article 12, Section 82-1203 Minimum off-street parking requirements, requesting relief from the requirement of five on site parking spaces, one being provided, in order to change the use of this property from business office to yoga studio. Said property is located in a CD zone and contains 1,650 sq. ft.
