Benefit concert to be held at ’Ganny Sunday

A benefit in memory of islander Josh Barber will be held on Sunday, Oct. 30, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Narragansett Café. There will be live music from Tom Ferraro, Nick Palda and the original members of Smokestack Lightnin’, a band that Barber was a guitarist for.

The concert is sponsored by We All Move On, a nonprofit organization established by the Barber family to raise awareness in support of the needs of others suffering from depression or similar conditions to Josh’s.

There is no admission to the concert, but donations to WAMO will be accepted.
