Slice of Heaven, House of Pizza come out on top

Slice of Heaven easily won its game with a 6-0 win over Salon Balayage in the Jamestown recreation soccer U10 division on Oct. 22. Ben Turene, Kseniya Farrel and Adler Delyi scored for the winners. Ben Jennings, Cameron Tuttle and Colby Fisher all played tough for Salon Balayage in a losing effort.

In the other U10 game of the day, Lila Delman and Secret Garden played to a 2-2 tie.

Michael Bonner and Donavan Martin scored for Secret Garden, while Theo Simmons and Ryan DeLessio added goals for Lila Delman.

In the U12 division, House of Pizza edged Fuzz Foundation, 4-3. Max Ward and Julia Bush led the way for House of Pizza, while Greg Violet and Connor Smith pitched in with strong play for Fuzz Foundation.

In the U6 division, outstanding players were Ben Cotsonas and Adam Bush from Kettlebottom Outfitters; Jake McNeil, Ryan Barrett, Calei Bailey and Ryan Goodburn from the Jamestown Rotary Club teams; Alice South and Austin Seger for Jamestown Hardware; and Lucas Florentino and Slate Evans for Ali’s Run.

In the U8 division, outstanding players were Andrew Goodburn and Gabriel Papaioanu for Jamestown Women’s Club; Abby Wagner and Josie Wagner for Jamestown Fitness; Keilee Takata and Maelie Gregoire for Conanicut Marine; Ella Coulter and Jacqueline Ruggerie for Jamestown Animal Clinic; Lindsey Dickinson and Gabriel Carnevale for Murphy’s Law; and Piper Ward and Keely Fisher for Baker’s Pharmacy.
