From Gwen Bellion: “Thought you might be interested in knowing that my husband John Bellion along with his, son-in-law, George Irvine and his son, Luke, 8, visiting for Christmas from Newark, Delaware, watched a whale surface and blow several times off Beavertail around noon on Monday, December 26.”

Thanks, Gwen. The whale is just one of our exciting winter attractions. *** Elizabeth Mancini and Cheryl Fernstrom both had last week’s poser. Cheryl wrote, ”The song is ‘Celebrate’ by Kool and the Gang around 1970. Great New Year’s Eve song. Let’s hope in 2012 we can ‘celebrate good times!’”

Come on and celebrate – tonight,

‘cause everything’s gonna be, alright.

Let’s celebrate, celebrate good times, come on.

We read that the White House wants to release Taliban prisoners so they can go back to Afghanistan and kill more of our soldiers. Scary isn’t it.

If you took all the girls I knew, when I was single, and brought them all together, for one night,

I know they’d never match, my sweet imagination, everything looks worse, in black and white.

The full moon on Monday will be the Wolf Moon, Moon After Yule and Old Moon.

Be true!
