Jan. 1, 10:30 a.m., Engine 3 was on detail for the 1st Day Plunge.
Jan. 4, 7:04 a.m., Car 2 and Engine 2 were sent to Seaside Drive for an oil burner malfunction.
Jan. 4, 7:54 a.m., Car 1, Car 4 and Engine 3 were dispatched to Route 138W for a possible automobile fire.
Jan. 5, 6:30 p.m., all units turned out for an ice rescue drill.
Jan. 1, 9:23 a.m., Rescue 3, Lawn Avenue, refused.
Jan. 1, 4:34 p.m., Rescue 3, Dewey Lane, transported.
Jan. 2, 2:12 a.m., Rescue 3, Lawn Avenue, refused.
Jan. 3, 8:14 a.m., Rescue 3, Clinton Avenue, transported.
Jan. 3, 10:01 a.m., Rescue 3, Seaside Drive, refused.
Jan. 3, 4:02 p.m., Rescue 3, Newport Bridge toll plaza, transported.

This week EMS had nine calls. Two patients refused transportation, two calls were for fire standby, one patient was taken to South County Hospital and three patients were taken to Newport Hospital. Calls this week included possible seizure, difficulty breathing, back pain, injuries due to falls, hypertension and possible stroke.
