Award-winning films to be shown at JAC
The Jamestown Arts Center will continue its screening of Rhode Island International Film Festival movies on Thursday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m. Included in the selections will be “Johnny & Lyman: A Life Together,” an 18-minute documentary on two men who spent 65 years together, surmounting challenges and living through decades of societal changes. The film won the award for Best Documentary Short at the 2011 RIIFF.
Also playing will be “Bob,” a three-minute German animation; “Luna,” a six-minute Canadian animation; “Mancrush,” a four-minute U.K. film directed by Tony Haggar; “Memoirs of a Disturbed Young Woman”; “My First Claire”; “Time and Love”; and “Two’s a Crowd,” a 20-minute documentary that won Best Comedy Short at the 2011 RIIFF.
Cost is $10 at the door.
