Library to offer series of computer courses
The Jamestown Philomenian Library will host a series of courses for those who need help using their computers. It will also have classes on how to manage an e-reader.
On Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., the library will hold a class on basic computer. There will be subsequent basic computer classes that same day from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and on Feb. 14 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The courses will cover email, word processing and Internet searching and safety.
Classes on managing an ereader will take place on Feb. 14 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and on Feb. 28 from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and again from 5:30 to 7 p.m. These courses will cover connecting an e-reader and getting it to work, managing library accounts, searching and downloading.
