Twelve students competed in the Lawn Avenue School’s spelling bee on Tuesday, which lasted 28 rounds. Sixth-grader Alisa Smith (top), 11, outlasted eighth-grader Joshua Robinson (bottom row, left) and was crowned spelling bee champion.
