Thanks to everyone who made show successful

The cast and crew of “Footloose” would like to send enormous thanks to the many family members, friends and neighbors who supported North Kingstown High School’s Fine Arts Department by attending this year’s musical.

Over 100 students participated in the show, whether it was onstage, backstage or in the pit. We owe a gracious thank you to our director, Mrs. Caiazza, for her patience and support that transformed this production from scripted lines to an energized musical that brought entertainment and laughter to thousands of people in our community. Her vocal assistance with this challenging production was tremendous. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel towards all the people who made this show the success it was.

Thank you so much to our acting director, Mr. Shaffer, for bringing inspiration, laughter and “fierce intent” to all who participated in this show. We would also like to thank Mrs. Taggart, our outstanding and enormously talented choreographer, for creating visually appealing dance scenes. We would also like a huge drum roll for Mr. Iadevaia, director of the pit band and percussionist extraordinaire.

We would all like to give a huge round of applause to Dr. Kenworthy and all the teachers and staff at the high school for supporting us through our many hours of rehearsals. Of course, it goes without saying that everyone involved would like to send an enormous thank you to Dave’s Marketplace and the North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce for volunteering to sell tickets, and also to all the local businesses who supported our program by advertising in our playbill.

Another sincere thank you goes out to all the local media organizations and businesses that put up posters or otherwise helped to advertise our production.

Finally, the cast would like to thank the wonderful parents who helped to hold this production together. Thank you for everything you have done, for filling the holes and picking up the slack where it was needed. The show would not have been possible without the tremendous help of all the teachers, parents, sponsors and audience members who devoted their time and money to support our program.

Thanks for making our production of “Footloose” the best it could be!
