FOR THE RECORD
• In last week’s edition of the Jamestown Press, the letter to the editor titled “Thanks to everyone who helped with D.C. trip” signed by Maureen McDermott and Karen Rafanelli was accidently emailed to the Press. The letter was from 2009. According to Lawn Avenue School Principal Kathy Almanzor, eighth-graders will leave for this year’s trip to the country’s capital on June 3. Lawn Avenue School is still in the process of fundraising for Project Close Up.
• In last week’s article titled “Town to draft RFPs for turbine,” it provides the total costs for two hypothetical turbines. The Press has been advised that the $1.76 million “electrical” line item in the breakout presented by consultant Harley Lee, but not noted in the article, is the interconnection cost to hook up a turbine to the grid.
