Yoga classes begin at golf course Monday
Yoga classes are being offered this spring at the Jamestown Golf Course beginning on Monday, April 16. Classes are sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department and taught by certified yoga instructor Diana McCallister.
No preregistration is required and beginners are welcome. Cost is $15 on a drop-in basis, $60 for five classes and $100 for 10 classes.
Classes include yoga for everybody on Mondays at 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 9 a.m.; relax and renew gentle yoga on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m.; and yoga basics on Thursday at 6 p.m. The yoga basics classes are for anyone who is new to yoga or for students who want to explore alignment of basic poses.
