Island teen will dance at JAC tonight



North Kingstown High School senior and lifelong Jamestown resident Sydney Keen will present her senior project as a benefit dance performance at the Jamestown Arts Center on Thursday, April 12, at 7 p.m. The performance is composed of nine short dance pieces all choreographed by Sydney, who began dancing at age 3. There will be a short intermission and the performance will be followed by a Q-and-A. Funds raised will be used towards purchasing modular dance flooring for dance instruction and performance at the center. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students.
