Registration opens for benefit walk on island

The fourth annual Childhood Stroke Awareness Walk will be held on May 19 at 10:30 a.m. at Fort Wetherill. All proceeds will benefit the Children’s Hemiplegia and Stroke Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and families affected by pediatric stroke and other causes of hemiplegia.

Registration forms are available at Baker’s Pharmacy, McQuade’s Marketplace and at the Jamestown Philomenian Library. The registration fee is $25 for adults and $10 for children. Completed registration forms and payment should be mailed to Jill Ball, 30 Intrepid Lane, Jamestown, RI 02835. Checks should be made payable to CHASA.
