Fire runs

April 19, 6:30 p.m., all units turned out to the fire station for drill.

April 21, 9:12 a.m., Car 1 and Engine 1 went to Calvert Place to check on an electrical smell.

April 21, 11:51 a.m., Car 1, Engine 3, Engine 1, Engine 2 and Special Services 1 responded to Fort Wetherill for a diver on the rocks.

April 22, 3:31 a.m., Car 2, Car 4, Car 22, Car 23, Engine 3, Engine 1 and Rescue 3 were dispatched to Route 138E for a one-car motorvehicle accident.

During the past two weeks EMS had 18 calls. Three patients refused transportation and 15 were taken to Newport Hospital. Calls included injuries due to falls, altered mental state, chest pain, vomiting, back pain, motor-vehicle accident and difficulty breathing.
