Islanders will open restaurant in Saunderstown

Jamestowners Ralph and Elisa Conte recently announced that they will open their new restaurant – Plum Point Bistro – in the middle of next month. It will be located at 1814 Boston Neck Road in Saunderstown, just minutes away from the Jamestown Bridge.

Plum Point Bistro will feature an open artisan kitchen, and food inspired from Italy and France will flavor the menu. The owners say that there will be a heavy emphasis on “fresh, vibrant ingredients” sourced from local farms and fishermen. There will also be homemade pasta and desserts made in house.

The restaurant will seat 60 in the dining room and 14 at the bar. An outside deck will accommodate additional seasonal seating, as well as an outdoor bar that seats 12. Plum Point Bistro will be open Tuesday through Sunday for dinner only.
