Jamestown Press cartoonist Will Wilson, 27, creator of Ordinary Bill, will release “Greetings from the Ocean State” later this month.

To celebrate the release, a book signing – open to the public – will be held on Friday, June 15, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Jamestown Arts Center.

Ordinary Bill follows the day-to-day life of 20-something Bill and his girlfriend, Isis. With their loyal cat Dakota in tow, Bill and Isis experience the everyday – and extraordinary – aspects of life in the Ocean State.

Wilson has landed a syndication deal with GoComics.com, which launches starting this fall. At the book signing, copies of Wilson’s newest book will be available for purchase for $14.99. Wilson will be on hand to sign books for guests.

Local companies – including Coastal Extreme Brewing, Grey Sail Brewing of Westerly, and Sons of Liberty Spirits in Peace Dale – will provide refreshments.
