Money still needed for July’s firework display

For the uninitiated, the Jamestown Rocket ’hogs are an organization with one purpose: to raise money for our town’s annual Independence Day fireworks display. This year is no different. On July 7 at sundown, our fireworks display will be fired from a barge in East Ferry.

We are still short on funds for this year’s show – to the tune of nearly $12,000 – and while things are picking up, we need you to consider contributing whatever you can. The Rocket ’hogs are selling T-shirts every weekend morning in front of Jamestown Hardware, but if you would like to send a check, please make it out to the “Rocket Hogs” and send it to P.O. Box 1776, Jamestown, RI 02835.

For more information, you can visit our website, Rocketh ogs.com; follow us on twitter @ Rockethogs; or become a fan on Facebook by clicking the “like” button.

We promise: Send us your money, and we’ll blow it up!

See you on July 7th. Kaboom!
