Blow up your money on Saturday, July 7
The clock is ticking. Jamestown’s annual summer fireworks will return to East Ferry at dusk on Saturday, July 7.
This year’s extravaganza promises to be spectacular. The fireworks will be launched from a barge in the East Ferry channel. Music will be provided by the Jamestown Community Band. Ryan Hartt and the Blue Hearts are also slated to perform that evening.
Enjoy an evening in the village. Have dinner at one of the local restaurants and then stroll down to the East Ferry waterfront to enjoy the fireworks display.
As always, the Rocket ’hogs are busy raising money to fund the event. This is an all-volunteer organization comprised of islanders dedicated to ensuring that Jamestowners gets their own annual fireworks to enjoy.
They need your help. The fireworks are paid for entirely through your contributions. It’s simple – the more money you send, the better the fireworks show.
