Fire runs

June 26, 12:52 p.m., Rescue 3, Car 1 and Engine 3 responded to North Road for a box alarm.

June 28, 10:41 a.m., Rescue 3, Car 1 and Engine 1 went to Carr Lane for a medical call.

June 28, 7 p.m., all companies turned out to the fire station for drill.

June 28, 11:56 p.m., Engine 3, Ladder 1 and Rescue 1 were called to Bayview Drive for a fire alarm.

June 29, 9:13 p.m., Engine 1, Engine 3, Ladder 1 and Tanker 1 were dispatched to East Shore Road for a fire alarm.

June 30, 3:59 a.m., Car 4 and Engine 2 went to Bayview Drive for a carbon monoxide alarm.

July 1, 5:04 p.m., Car 1, Car 2, Car 4 and Engine 1 were sent to Highland Drive for a fire alarm.

During the last two weeks EMS had 28 calls. Six patients refused transportation, one was taken to South County Hospital and 21 were taken to Newport Hospital. Calls included difficulty breathing, bleeding, injuries due to falls, back pain, knee pain, anxiety, dehydration, diabetic emergency, dizziness, unresponsive, chest pain, edema and hypertension.
