Fire runs

July 18, 11:48 a.m., Car 1 and Engine 1 were sent to Walcott Avenue for a fire alarm.

July 19, 7 p.m., all companies turned out to the fire station for drill.

July 22, 10:30 a.m., Engine 1 and Ladder 1 went to Lawn Avenue School for drill.

July 23, Ladder 1 was directed to the police station to assist with an antenna wire.

July 16, 9:22 a.m., Rescue 3, Narragansett Avenue, transported.

July 17, 7:50 a.m., Rescue 3, Bow Street, refused.

July 17, 7:13 p.m., Rescue 3, Lawn Avenue, transported.

This week EMS had 15 calls. Five patients refused transportation, seven patients were taken to Newport Hospital and three were taken to South County Hospital.

Calls this week included lift assist, high blood pressure, lacerations, injuries due to falls, seizure, dog bite, weakness, shortness of breath and fever.
