Warrant violation
Ivory Littlejohn, 30, of Elmwood
Drive, Rumford, was charged July
30 with a bench-warrant violation
from 2nd Division District Court
in Newport. According to police,
the warrant was learned about following a traffic stop. The defendant was held at the police station
and transported to court.
Multiple charges
• Gregory Maguire, 18, of North
Pasture Lane, Wakefield, was
charged July 29 with DUI, possession of alcohol by a minor, refusal
to submit to a chemical test, and
disorderly conduct. According to
police, the dispatcher received a
call from the toll plaza for erratic
operation of a motor vehicle after the operator was seen backing
onto the highway. The defendant
was held at the police station and
arraigned by a justice of the peace.
A re-arraignment was scheduled
for Aug. 3 at 2nd Division District
Court in Newport.
• A 17-year-old male juvenile
was charged July 26 with misdemeanor larceny and three counts
of tampering with vehicles. According to police, the dispatcher
received a call for a person trying
to steal from a vehicle. The defendant

was released to his parents. A
meeting was scheduled in front of
the Juvenile Hearing Board.
Expired license
Steven Supple, 33, of Liberty
Hill, Blackstone, Mass., was
charged July 27 with driving with
an expired license. According to
police, officers were checking on
downed wires when they learned
that the truck operator had an expired license. An arraignment was
scheduled for Aug. 10 at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.
Possession of marijuana
Mark Szatir, 23, of Wells Road,
Ellington, Conn., was charged July
27 first-offense possession of marijuana. The defendant was held at
the police station and arraigned
by a justice of the peace. A re-arraignment was scheduled for Aug.
3 at 2nd Division District Court in
Newport.
Drug possession
Ryan Luginbuhl, 23, of Dobson
Road, Vernon, Conn., was charged
July 27 with possession of a controlled substance. The defendant
was held at the police station and
arraigned by a justice of the peace.
A re-arraignment was scheduled
for Aug. 3 at 2nd Division District
Court in Newport.
