Multiple charges

Travis Godwin, 35, of Mount Hope Avenue, Jamestown, was charged July 27 with operating a recreational vehicle under the infl uence and refusing to submit to a chemical test. According to police, officers responded to an ATV accident where the operators of the vehicles appeared to be intoxicated. Godwin was transported to the hospital and released with a summons. An arraignment was scheduled for July 28 at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.

Suspended license

• Anthony Biel, 30, of Post Road, Warwick, was charged Aug. 3 with driving with a suspended license. According to police, offi cers learned of the violation after a routine traffic stop. Biel was held at the police station and was released with a summons. An arraignment was scheduled for Aug. 10 at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.

• Vanessa Molloy, of Nelson Street, Providence, was charged Aug. 9 with driving with a suspended license. According to police, officers learned of the violation after a routine traffic stop. Molloy was held at the police station and was released with a summons. An arraignment was scheduled for Aug. 17 at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.

DUI

• Donna Condon, 52, of Columbine Court, South Kingstown, was charged Aug. 3 with first-offense DUI and refusing to submit to a chemical test. According to police, officers responded to a call for an intoxicated operator. The officers arrived on the scene and conducted a field-sobriety test. Condon was held at the police station and was arraigned by a justice of the peace. A re-arraignment was scheduled for Aug. 10 at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.

• Michael Keefe, 36, of Rose Hill Road, Peace Dale, was charged Aug. 12 with first-offense DUI and refusing to submit to a chemical test. According to police, officers stopped Keefe when the vehicle he was driving allegedly almost rearended a police cruiser. Keefe was held at the police station and was arraigned by a justice of the peace. A re-arraignment was scheduled for Aug. 17 at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.

Simple assault

• Linda Kay Collier, 53, of Middle River Lane, Annapolis, Md., was charged Aug. 3 with domestic simple assault. According to police, officers responded to a call from someone who claimed had a physical altercation with his girlfriend. Condon was held at the police station and was arraigned by a justice of the peace. A re-arraignment was scheduled for Aug. 21 at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.

• Samuel Baugh Jr., 19, of Neptune Street, Jamestown, was charged Aug. 14 with simple assault. Baugh was held at the police station and arraigned at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.

Warrant violation

Deborah Brayton, 60, of Pemberton Avenue, Jamestown, was charged Aug. 4 with violation of a bench warrant. Brayton was held at the police station and transported to the ACI in Cranston.

Possession of marijuana

Brett G. Gorman, 25, of Maple Avenue, Jamestown, was charged Aug. 10 with first-offense possession of marijuana. Gorman was held at the police station and was arraigned by a justice of the peace. A re-arraignment was scheduled for Aug. 17 at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.

Expired license

• Jose Calderon, 43, of Stansbury Street, Providence, was charged Aug. 12 with driving without a valid license. Calderon was held at the police station and released with a summons. An arraignment was scheduled for Aug. 24 at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.

• Rafael Alejandro Gramajo Davila, 25, of Broadway, Newport, was charged Aug. 12 with driving without a valid license. Davila was held at the police station and released with a summons. An arraignment was scheduled for Aug. 24 at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.
