Elderly Brothers put on good show at JAC

The Jamestown Community Theatre would like to thank the Jamestown Arts Center for hosting our presentation of the Elderly Brothers on Sunday afternoon. It was gratifying to see two art organizations getting together to present an event.

Thank you to the Elderly Brothers for entertaining a multiage audience. Your music reached out to all ages and each piece demonstrated the enormous talent each one of you possess. Many of us were delighted to hear a bit of nostalgia as we listened to songs that Bill Thomas, one of the Elderly Brothers, wrote for the “Captain Kangaroo” show many years ago. The movies that accompanied the music coordinated so well with each song and were beautifully filmed.

Other tunes showcased were from groups like the Mamas and the Papas, the Beatles, Neil Sedaka, Simon and Garfunkle, Bob Dylan, and more. It was a wonderful show – it was a great afternoon with children dancing, and audience members were alive with the sound of music. Thank you to all who helped plan this event.
