Fire runs
Aug. 27, 7:41 p.m., Engine 3,
Car 1 and Car 3 were sent to Conanicus Avenue for a carbon monoxide alarm.
Aug. 28, 11:21 p.m., Engine 1,
Engine 3 and Rescue 3 were dispatched to Boom Street for a carbon monoxide alarm.
Aug. 28, 12:30 p.m., Rescue 1,
Marine 1 and Engine 3 responded
to a missing diver near Rose Island. Aug. 30, 7 p.m., all units turned
out to the fire station for drill.
Aug. 31, 5:50 p.m., Engine 1,
Engine 2, Engine 3, Rescue 1,
Rescue 3, Tanker 1 and Tanker
2 were dispatched to Fort Getty
Road for a fire.
Sept. 1, 9:16 a.m., Engine 2,
Rescue 1 and Engine 1 were directed

to Taylor Point for a fire
alarm.
Sept. 1, 6:39 p.m., Engine 1,
Car 2 and Car 4 went to Conanicus
Avenue for a fire.
Sept. 2, 11:33 p.m., Engine 3,
Marine 1 and Car 2 were sent to
Mackerel Cove to help with a possible boat in distress.
Sept. 4, 10:19 a.m., Engine 1,
Tanker 1 and Car 3 were directed
to Conanicus Avenue for a box
alarm.
Sept. 4, 10:47 a.m., Rescue 3,
Car 3, Car 1 and Engine 1 went to
Beach Street for a lift assist.

This week EMS had nine calls.
One patient refused transportation,
two were taken to South County
Hospital and six were taken to
Newport Hospital. Calls this week
included injuries due to falls, lacerations, carbon dioxide alarm,
swelling, abdominal pain, loss of
consciousness and dizziness.
