Fire runs

Sept. 6, 2:21 a.m., Engine 2, Engine 3 and Rescue 3 were dispatched to Seaside Drive for a fire alarm.

Sept. 6, 7:30 p.m., all units turned out to the fire station for drill.

Sept. 7, 5:19 p.m., Engine 3, Marine 1 and Car 2 stood by for a possible boat rescue off of Cliff Walk in Newport.

Sept. 8, 2:07 p.m., Marine 1 was sent off Dewey Lane for a man in the water.

Sept. 8, 2:14 p.m., Engine 3 and Car 1 responded to Cedar Lane for an unresponsive person.

Sept. 9, 2:14 p.m., Car 1, Car 2, Car 3, Car 4, Rescue 1, Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 3, Tanker 1 and Tanker 2 reported to Newport Street for a fire.

Sept. 9, 7 p.m., Car 3 went to Stanchion Avenue for a fire alarm.

Sept. 10, 12:46 a.m., Car 1, Car 4, Engine 2 and Engine 3 responded to West Bayview Drive for a fire alarm.

Sept. 3, 8:48 a.m., Rescue 3, Beacon Avenue, transported.

Sept. 4, 10:47 a.m., Rescue 3, Beach Avenue, transported.

Sept. 5, 8:48 a.m., Rescue 3, Racquet Road, transported.

Sept. 7, 3:15 p.m., Rescue 3, Knowles Court, transported.

Sept. 7, 6:25 p.m., Rescue 3, Knowles Court, refused.

Sept. 8, 1:36 a.m., Rescue 3, Narragansett Avenue, refused.

Sept. 8, 9:25 a.m., Rescue 3, Windsor Street, transported.

Sept. 8, 2:23 p.m., Rescue 3, Cedar Lane, refused.

This week EMS had nine calls. Three patients refused transportation, one patient was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, one patient was taken to South County hospital, and four patients went to Newport Hospital. Calls this week included difficulty breathing, leg pain, lacerations, injury due to falls, and unresponsive patients.
