Council hopeful bows out to pursue goals

Four months ago I decided to run for Town Council, with the hope that I could give back to the community that means so much to me. Unfortunately, circumstances in my personal life have changed. Several unanticipated opportunities to further pursue my career goals in emergency services have recently presented themselves.

While I am still currently deciding which path I will take with regard to them, all options would interfere with serving on the council. I am so grateful for all of the support I have received from residents around town. I would like to especially thank my uncle, Mike White, for encouraging and inspiring me to run. I would also like to to express my appreciation to Mary Meagher, for guiding me through my campaign finances, as well as Ryan Conlon, for going door to door with me.

I hope I have not disappointed anyone more than myself. I intend to run again in the future once I find the direction I need in my personal life.
