Concert will benefit depression sufferers
The second annual benefit in the memory of Josh Barber will take place on Sunday, Oct. 14, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Narragansett Café. Josh was a Jamestown musician who committed suicide at 30 years old. Following Josh’s death, the Barber family established We All Move On, a nonprofit group whose goal is to raise awareness in support of others suffering from depression. Artists at the benefit will include the original members of Smokestack Lightnin’ (Josh’s former band), Tom Ferraro, Travis Colby, Young Neil, Dave Howard and Tim Taylor. Tickets will not be sold for the event. Donations are being accepted on WeAllMoveOn. org.
