Jamestown Hardware cruises to 8-2 victory

The U12 and U10 Jamestown recreational soccer teams once again played teams from the North Kingstown program. In U12 play, Stearns Farms and Lila Delman lost 4-0 and 7-6 respectively. In the other U12 games, goals from Ksyenia Farrell and Ben Hutchinson led Newport Renewables to a 4-3 win.

In the U10 division, Adam Powers scored in a win for Payton’s Pace. Jamestown Hardware won 8-2 with goals from Ben Turrene, Colby Godwin, Allie Sabourin and Audrey Magarian. In the final U10 game, Jamestown Animal Clinic won 2-0. Kyle Takata scored both goals, and Victoria Coulter earned the shutout in goal.

In the U8 division, outstanding players were Brayden Ritterby and Ami Gregoire of Baker’s Pharmacy;

Caitlin DeLessio and Jacquiline Ruggieri of Beacon Hill Gardening; Lauren Froberg and Savannah Burnett of the Jamestown Women’s Club; Alex Rutherford and Josie Wagner of Jamestown Fitness; Lilly Wellons and Liam Waldon of Murphy’s Law; and Cameron Masterson and Ella Coulter of the Secret Garden.

In the U6 division, outstanding players were Lillian Smith and Mark Swistak of House of Pizza; Rylee Pinheiro and Jameson Jouhert of the Fuzz Foundation; Charles Chamberlain and Thomas Chamberlain of Salon Bayalage; Nathan Benson and J.B. Lilly of Slice of Heaven; Sam Deaton and Cameron Lanphere of Central Garage; and Justin Godwin and Trace Godwin of Kettlebottom Outfitters.
