Beryl A. Mason (Bee)
Beryl A. Mason (Bee), 89, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully Nov. 12, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John Mason. Beryl served in the British Auxiliary Territorial Service during World War II.
Born in Belper, Cheshire, England, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Constance (Smedley) Allwood. Beryl moved here two years ago from England.
She is survived by her two daughters, Judy Mason of New Hampshire and Wendy Crooks of Jamestown; four grandchildren, Louise Norton, Samuel Colbourne, Zoe and Molly Bandola; and two great-grandsons, Dillan and Collin Norton.
Her funeral and burial will be held in England at a later date. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
