Volunteers needed to raise U.S. flags Friday

Volunteers are needed to help raise and lower flags at East Ferry Memorial Square on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day on Friday, Dec. 13. Organizers ask that volunteers arrive at 8 a.m. to raise more than 150 U.S. flags that have been donated from families of island veterans and date back to the Spanish-American War. Volunteers are also needed to lower the flags at 3 p.m.
