Thanks for making concerts a success

The Jamestown Community Chorus wishes to thank everyone who helped make our holiday concerts such a grand success. Both events were sold out and it was a pleasure for us to sing to a full house each time.

We thank our harp accompanist, Hyunjung Choi, for performing Benjamin Britten’s “A Ceremony of Carols” with us. In addition, we thank the Central Baptist Church for the use of their space for rehearsals and concerts; Jamestown Hardware, the Secret Garden and Baker’s Pharmacy for selling tickets; Sav Rebecchi, who videotaped us for the Jamestown Record; Ken Shane of the Jamestown Press for a fine article about Ruth Caswell’s 60th year with the chorus; the Jamestown Press for help getting the word out; Mike Maino at WCRI Radio; Jim Perry for sound engineering; and Tim Yentsch, Ellie Chase, Agnes Filkins and Linda Jacobson for taking tickets.

Our deep appreciation goes to all who attended our concerts, bought ads in our program, responded to our fundraising drive, and in any way provided help and support to our efforts in keeping choral music vibrant in this community. We enjoy bringing it to you and hope it added some cheer to your holiday season.
