Final nominee named for education board
Gov. Lincoln D. Chafee announced last week Michael Grande as the 11th and final nominee for the Rhode Island Board of Education.
Grande has been involved with community organizations such as the YMCA and the Boy Scouts. He is an accountant and teaches at both Providence College and CCRI. “His willingness to serve on the Board of Education is another example of his commitment to our state and its young people,” said Chafee.
Previously announced were Eva-Marie Mancuso, along with Joan Abrams, Antonio Barajas, Michael Bernstein, Colleen Callahan, Karin Forbes, Patrick Guida, William Maaia, Lawrence Purtill and Mathies Santos.
