Rocky Hill School announces honor roll

Five Jamestown students were named to the honor roll at Rocky Hill School in East Greenwich for the first semester. Alessandra Antonelli made high honors, and Witt Tarantino, Julia Hirsch, Vaughn Gooding and Courtney Harrington made honors. To make high honors, students must acquire a cumulative average of 90 or above. Honors requires a cumulative average between 85 and 89.

Islanders named to honor society at URI

Samantha Bucklin and Megan Greene were recently inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma honor society at the University of Rhode Island. To be considered, students must have a GPA of 3.5 or above. Bucklin is a preveterinary major and Greene is a psychology and biology double major. Both were transfer students this year.

Plymouth State recognizes Jamestown woman

Amanda Romano was named to the president’s list for the fall semester at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. To be named to the president’s list, a student must achieve a GPA of 3.7 or above with at least 12 credits during the semester.
