From March 5 to March 11, the Jamestown Police Department responded to 350 calls for service. Of those calls for service, officers performed 213 security checks of vacant homes and businesses.
The police also responded to 18 emergency calls, three animal complaints, three parking complaints and four alarms. There were 40 traffic stops, resulting in 13 traffic citations. Seven of those tickets were issued by officers while assigned to a state enforcement program. No arrests were made last week.
