Duck Derby scheduled April 27 at East Ferry
The annual Duck Derby at East Ferry to benefit the eighth-grade class trip to Washington, D.C., will be held on Saturday, April 27, from 2 to 4 p.m. According to organizer Susan Piccerelli, the ducks have been sold out but there are plenty other ways to help out. The event will include face painting, popcorn, games and other activities for young children. There will also be raffles. The grand prize for the winning duck is an Elizabeth Congdon painting valued at $3,000. The event will also have music.
